TOCOBO Vita Airy & Vita Waterproof Sunscreen Reviews

Hello everyone! Today I will be reviewing two of TOCOBO's newest sunscreens, the Vita Airy Sun Primer and Vita Waterproof Sun Stick, that were launched back in March and kindly provided to me by Stylekorean in exchange for my honest review. You may remember my blog from last summer when I went over TOCOBO's newly released Cica sunscreens, which quickly became favorites of mine! I fully anticipated loving these as well considering how good their sunscreen formulas are. I ended up being quite surprised at how different and unique one of them was, while the other reminded me a lot of one of the last years releases, with the exception of a new summer-friendly upgrade. Let's jump into the reviews!

TOCOBO Vita Airy Sun Primer

• Vegan reef-safe SPF50+ PA++++ chemical sunscreen/primer

First up, we have the Vita Airy Sun Primer! The thick peanut buttery texture functions just like a makeup primer, giving the skin a smooth, flawless base for your foundation. I found the texture to be similar to Benefit's The POREfessional Pore Primer, and it worked in almost the same way as well. The oil controlling properties of this sun primer are also very appreciated. As an oily-skinned girl, I often experience a lot of foundation separation from excess sebum, which becomes an even bigger issue in the summer, so this multitasking formula worked exceptionally well for my skin type. It dries to a very smooth, matte, almost powdery finish with no white cast and the cica complex keeps my skin feeling calm. I highly recommend this one for makeup wearers, especially those with oily skin. If you don't wear makeup, the Cica Calming Sun Serum may be a better match!

The Vita Waterproof Sun Stick reminded me a lot of last years Cica Cooling Sun Stick, except, as the name suggests, this one is even better for summer with its waterproof and sweatproof properties. Much like the Vita Airy Sun Primer, this sun stick also has oil controlling properties! It glides smoothly along the skin, leaving a matte, powdery finish without white cast. In my experience, a lot of waterproof sunscreens can feel quite heavy and greasy on my skin, but this sun stick is so light, it feels pretty much weightless on my skin. If you're going to be enjoying a lot of swimming and summer activities, I definitely recommend picking up one of these sun sticks, but if a waterproof formula isn't necessary for you, this one is pretty interchangeable with the Cica Cooling Sun Stick!
