Hello and welcome to Cozy Critique!

 

My name is Leah and I'm a 35-year-old beauty blogger and content creator currently living in Edmonton, Alberta with my boyfriend and two cats. I'm originally from the West Coast of British Columbia, but have been living here for quite a few years now.

 

Known among friends as the go-to person for skincare and beauty advice, I've been fascinated by skincare, fragrance, and all things beauty for as long as I can remember. Nothing can lift my mood and relax me quite like a good self-care session with my favorite masks, serums, creams and fragrances!

 

I've always been the kind of person that wants to know everything I possibly can about a product. From unique botanical extracts and new viral buzz ingredients, to the science behind how they work, I love all the details! I launched my content creation and review page @cozycritique on Instagram in the summer of '23, and as we all know, you can only fit so much information into the caption of an Instagram post. So, I decided to start this blog to truly unpack and dissect the products I'm testing and reviewing, going beyond the limitations of Instagram captions.
