Hello everyone! Maybelline kindly sent over this absolutely adorable package containing 4 of their new Teddy Tints a little while back. I found these tints to be quite unique and versatile in the ways they can be used, so I wanted to share some swatches and a quick review of them for you all!
So, what makes these Teddy Tints unique? They can be worn in a variety of ways depending on your application! They're very buildable, so, one swipe gives you a sheer finish, two swipes for a blurred finish and three swipes for a bold finish. You can combine a light and dark shade for a gradient effect, and lastly, these can be used as cheek tints as well! How's that for multitasking?
I received four shades - Mascara Tear, Petalcore, Wild At Heart and Kneehigh, which I will be swatching in todays blog, There are also six more beautiful shades, which you check out below!

How Long Do They Last?
These tints are some of the longest-lasting that I've ever used! Maybelline claims you can get up to 12h of transfer-proof wear with them, and I've definitely found that to be true. They may require a minor touch-up or two throughout the day depending on your activities, but I can confirm that for the most part, this formula does not budge! They do not transfer at all and the stain lasts all day. Be prepared to use a cleansing oil, cleansing balm or oil-based makeup remover to fully remove them.
Now let's move onto the swatches!

20 ⋅ Mascara Tear: brownish mauve
40 ⋅ Petalcore: warm coral pink
50 ⋅ Wild At Heart: deep berry
55 ⋅ Kneehigh: cool-toned pinkish purple
So pretty aren't they? Out of these four, Kneehigh ended up being my favorite, but honestly, they're all really nice! I think Maybelline did a really great job with the variation of shades in this line. No matter your skin color or undertone, you're bound to find at least one shade that will look beautiful on you!

Maybelline Super Stay Teddy Tint Review
While I wouldn't say these Teddy Tints are overly drying, they aren't very moisturizing either and can have a tendency to cling to dry patches on your lips, so my first word of advice is to make sure you exfoliate your lips very well prior to application. I also highly recommend applying a hydrating and moisturizing balm beforehand for the best possible results.
These tints start with a mousse-like texture that feels very lightweight on the lips. They're extremely pigmented too, so you may find that one layer is enough for you. They take a little bit to fully dry, so for a flawless finish, I recommend keeping your mouth slightly open until the tint has dried to a matte finish. I noticed the tiniest bit of stickiness/tackiness, but these really are completely transfer-proof, and they don't bleed either. Applying a clear gloss over these also works really well!
If you're familiar with lip tints from Asian beauty brands, these actually reminded me a lot of some of the ones I've used in the past. The blurred, gradient look is something I see often with Korean makeup brands, and the Teddy Tints work exceptionally well for that. As I mentioned above, these are very long-lasting and leave a stain that can be tricky to remove with a regular foaming cleanser, so be sure to have a cleansing oil, cleansing balm or oil-based cleanser on hand for removal!
Maybelline's Super Stay Teddy Tints can be found at Shoppers Drug Mart, Walmart, Amazon and most other places that carry makeup.
